June Baboian has been the very dedicated Music Director of the Armenian Memorial Church since 1997. She coordinates the music program, supervises the organist, conducts the choir and sings for Sunday worship services, as well as for special events and special services.

Ms. Baboian holds a BM in Vocal Performance from The Boston Conservatory. She studied conducting with Attilio Poto at The Boston Conservatory and with Jameson Marvin at Harvard University. Ms. Baboian has been a soloist at many Greater Boston area churches including the First Armenian Church in Belmont and the First Baptist Church in Watertown. She also performs for special events and concerts throughout Greater Boston and beyond, including the Armenian Genocide commemorations in both Boston and New York. Her repertoire includes musical theatre, light opera, Christian contemporary and gospel, and Armenian.

An active member of the Boston Theatre community and a member of Actors’ Equity Association, Ms. Baboian has performed with many of Boston’s finest theatre companies including Lyric Stage Company, New Repertory Theatre, New England Light Opera, The Nora Theatre Company, and the American Repertory Theatre.
