The music ministry of the Armenian Memorial Church is an important component of church life and serves to enhance the worship experience of the church service. As worship involves the whole person, music helps lift our thoughts and emotions to God. Through music we can celebrate God’s greatness because God created music and we joyously return it to him in praise.

The music committee is responsible for insuring that there is a variety of suitable music for services, providing opportunities for church members to develop their special musical gifts to offer in service to God, and fostering continuing growth of the church’s overall music ministry. The committee consists of at least three members who supervise the Music Director and Organist. The committee also helps establish policy on worship music, maintains the church organ and pianos, prepares an annual budget request for presentation to the Board of Trustees, and organizes an annual Choir recognition Sunday.

…for the music of the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, lyres and harps, for the ministry at the house of God. (1 Chronicles 25:6)
