Camp Arevelk to receive April's mission plate donations

Dress for Success will receive our non-monetary donation for the months. Dress for Success is looking for Women's professional Clothing to help women in need secure professional jobs. Items most needed are Blouses, handbags, briefcases, and shoes. There will be an item drop off area at the church.

Monthly volunteer session will be the Charles River Cleanup on April 21. Meet at the Church at 8:30am and we will work with other families to clean along the Charles River. We will begin at Watertown Square and work to North Beacon colleting garbage, leaves, and brush along the river. There will be thousands of volunteers on the Charles River from Milford to Boston that day. We will have a lunch reception at the church at noon. Contact Jeffrey Bilezikian for any questions

On Friday, February 9th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM a group of volunteers - Sunday school children and parents will be going to "Cradles to Crayons" in Quincy, to help our sort things. All are welcome.

Cradles to Crayons is an organization that takes lightly used and new items and distributed them to inner-city kids and families. Volunteers help make up packages that are ready for distribution. Some of the most common items are kids clothing, car seats, and school supplies. The Sunday school and Missions group is increasing its civic participation and we will try to provide a monthly or quarterly program.

Missions Committee has designated February as AMAA month (Armenian Missionary Association of America) which operates in 22 countries and 120 missions, and we will give to the Christian Workers' Fund. Mission envelopes are in the pews for donations.

On Sunday, February 18th the AMAA Field Director Dikran Youmshakian will be worshipping with us and immediately after the service there will be a luncheon served. After lunch there will be a presentation by the AMAA representative on the many accomplishments, goals and needs for the upcoming year.
